LUXE, SPORT or AUTOGRAPH: How to Choose Your 2027 INFINITI QX65

LUXE, SPORT or AUTOGRAPH: How to Choose Your 2027 INFINITI QX65

The 2027 INFINITI QX65 brings a fastback roofline to INFINITI’s midsize SUV lineup, and every version starts from a strong base. All three grades share a 2.0 L 4-cylinder VC-Turbo engine that makes 268 hp and 286 lb-ft of torque, a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. Dual 12.3-inch displays, Google built-in and ProPILOT Assist also come on every QX65.

The grades differ in comfort, sound, camera technology and style. This guide walks through LUXE, SPORT and AUTOGRAPH one at a time, so you can match the right QX65 to the way you drive and the features you use every day.

QX65 LUXE: Strong Standard Equipment From the Start

LUXE is the entry point to the QX65 lineup, and it already covers the features most buyers ask for first. It rides on 20-inch machined aluminum-alloy wheels and seats five on TailorFit-appointed upholstery. The 8-way power front seats are heated, and so are the steering wheel and the outboard second-row seats.

A panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade, a power liftgate and tri-zone automatic climate control are all standard. The cabin includes an 11-speaker audio system, a Qi2 wireless charging pad with a cooling fan, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and four USB-C ports. Remote engine start and Intelligent Cruise Control with ProPILOT Assist round out the package.

LUXE fits buyers who want all-wheel drive, heated seats front and rear, and a well-equipped cabin without extra add-ons.

QX65 SPORT: Darker Style and More Technology

SPORT gives the QX65 a darker, more athletic look. Its grille uses a sportier mesh pattern, and the window trim, roof rails and emblems are finished in gloss black. The SPORT-exclusive 20-inch gloss black wheels feature a five-spoke layered turbine design with concealed lug nuts. Inside, a graphite headliner and gloss black carbonite-pattern trim continue the theme.

SPORT also adds the biggest jump in technology. It brings climate-controlled front seats, a Klipsch 16-speaker premium audio system with 600 watts and an 8-inch TriPower subwoofer, and a 10.8-inch colour head-up display. The 3D Around View Monitor with Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View, front sonar and the Smart Rear View Mirror make parking easier.

Other additions include a motion-activated liftgate, INFINITI Light Path exterior lighting, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a power tilt and telescopic steering column with memory. A tow hitch with pre-harness and Trailer Sway Control is standard, so SPORT is ready for the QX65’s 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg) towing rating when properly equipped.

SPORT fits drivers who want a bolder look, the full camera suite and the hardware to tow.

QX65 AUTOGRAPH: The Top of the QX65 Lineup

AUTOGRAPH takes the SPORT grade’s technology and swaps the dark styling for a richer finish. It rides on 21-inch machined-alloy wheels with P265/45R21 all-season tires and wears satin chrome window trim. Two-tone exterior colour options are available.

The cabin moves up to semi-aniline leather-appointed seats with diagonal quilting inspired by the folds of a kimono. The front seats add a massage function, and the passenger seat gains 4-way power lumbar support. Open pore wood trim, a quilted dashboard, a premium smooth leather-wrapped steering wheel, illuminated kickplates and aluminum cargo area scuff plates complete the interior.

Sound comes from a Klipsch Reference Premiere 20-speaker system with 1,200 watts and Individual Audio, which uses headrest speakers to send navigation or phone audio to the driver while passengers keep listening to music. The Tow Package is standard.

AUTOGRAPH is the only QX65 that offers the Technology Package. It adds ProPILOT Assist 2.1 for hands-off driving on compatible highways when the driver stays attentive (subscription required after the trial), 3D Around View Monitor with spin capability, a Driver Monitoring System and a driver seat-mounted front-centre air bag.
